was placed into groups of four. The groups first activity was to write five
classroom rules that must not include negative words and were to present them
to the class when it was their turn.
2. We
were then given another task where every group had to research different words
and explain their definitions and examples to the class.
After
each group was finished making their presentation of their different topics and
a short class discussion took place.
CHALLENGES
In today's Lesson my challenges were understanding the
tasks given. I received the information and was able to research but was having
some difficulties understanding the information viewed online. Those challenges
lead me to become a bit frustrated during class and I was unable to focus and
understand. I then tried to
refocus by asking one my colleagues for assistance which enabled me to better
understand and access information on the group's topic ASYNCHRONOUS & SYNCHRONOUS and Digital Native and Digital Immigrant.
During this session I learnt a lot
of new tasks and skills that I never knew existed in InformationTechnology. All
of the tasks given to the groups were all new to me and I am grateful to have
acquired all this new information because going forward from now on,I can use all
the information to assist me when it comes to the use of technology and the
internet at home and in the classroom. I think this will allow my students to
be more participative in class.
So far it
has been a Learning experience for me and hoping to achieve a lot more in EDET.
